Hello spectacular world!
Today I’m reviewing Beautifully Custom’s Brave Wig in Chocolate Brownie.
Ooh…the suspense. 😉
Preliminaries: I paid full price for this wig. No discounts. This is not a ‘seconds’ quality wig.
This wig costs $39.99. It is heat safe, and currently out of stock. Beautifully Custom sells out very quickly, so I would suggest planning to purchase a wig the day (or hour) they come out, otherwise you will more than likely miss out on your first choice. I was actually planning on a different color, which was out of stock within a few minutes. Ultimately, though, I’m happy I ended up with the color I have. 🙂
Okay, here we go:
The wig arrived quickly. I chose the free shipping option when I ordered it Sat the 29, and it arrived Thursday the 3rd. Not bad!
Inside a bubblewrap envelope was this pretty gift bag:
Inside the gift bag was:
The pretty pink bow on the business card is a hair clip. Each wig comes with a random color of hair clip.
Underneath the patterned bag are 2 more clear bags before you get to the actual wig!
Take off the hair net and the piece of tissue paper stuffed in to help the wig keep it’s shape–and you at last come to the actual wig!
My Brave wig is a size 11, so it fits easier on the Josefina/Lea mold, which happens to have one of the larger circumferences of the different AG dolls.
Beautifully Custom wigs are intended to fit quite snugly, so I choose not to glue them down. The shorter wigs are a little harder to pull on because there is less to grab onto, but I eventually got it on.
Did I mention that this wig is so so soft? It has subtle highlights like you’d see in real hair that don’t show up very well on camera.
I do have a name for him, which I’ll introduce in an upcoming photo story. 😀
See ya next time!
